Bali may be home to some of the most luxurious hotels in the world, but now the high-life experience can begin even before you touch down on the Islands of the Gods.

Starting from 1st June 2023, travelers will be able to fly to Bali aboard an A380 superjumbo from Dubai with Emirates Airline. The double-decker plane is the world’s largest commercial passenger plane. Incredibly, the service from Dubai to I Gusti Ngurah Rai International will operate daily from the summer.

Though the first announcement of the new flight service was made last year, more details about the superset’s daily journey have been revealed by an official from Emirates.

Speaking to reporters Adnan Kazim, who is Emirates’ chief commercial officer, shared the airline’s excitement for the new service.

He said, “The Emirates A380 is synonymous with our fly better promise and world-class products and services, and we’re excited to offer our travelers the opportunity to experience its uniqueness and unmatched beauty on flights to and from Bali.”

Whether in business class or economy, the experience of flying on an Emirates A380 service is unforgettable. The daily service will depart Dubai at 3.25 am, landing in Denpasar at 4.35pm. After a quick turnaround, the return service leaves Bali at 7.40 pm, arriving in Dubai at 1 am the following morning.

The service will feature 58 business class seats in addition to 557 economy seats. This is the first time an A380 service will be operating in Indonesia, and it comes as huge news for the tourism and aviation industries.

Officials in Bali are working hard to ensure that 2023 is the year that the island becomes more accessible than ever before. It is not only the Emirates A380 Dubai-Bali service that is being added to the schedule in the coming weeks and months.

Earlier this year, officials from Bali airport revealed that thirteen airlines had submitted requests to operate new flights to and from I Gusti Ngurah Rai International. They have said that more details will be announced as soon as approvals have been formally granted.

What we do know is that there are several new flight services between Australia and Bali that will launch in April. Back in February, Indonesia’s national carrier, Garuda Airlines, announced huge updates to their flight services.

The first was an increase in their Sydney-Bali service. As of the 5th of April, the service will operate three times a week, increasing to four times a week as of the 7th of April. The flight, officially known as the. GA715 service will depart from Sydney Airport at 10.05 am every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.

The return route will operate on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, with a Friday service as of the 7th of July. The flight will take off from Bali at 11.40 pm, arriving in Sydney at 7.25 am the following day.

The inbound Bali-Melbourne service will also operate on Fridays and Saturdays, taking off from Bali at 11.05 pm and arriving in Melbourne at 6.35 am the morning after.

2023 is a big year for travelers on Australia’s Gold Coast who want to visit Bali. Virgin Australia has launched its first Gold Coast-Bali direct flight, designed to connect the two surfing destinations with ease.

The new direct route from Gold Coast to Bali will operate daily, which is just another way that the Island of the Gods is becoming even more accessible this year. The route will provide over 2200 seats a week. The flight time is just 6 hours and 35 minutes door to door.

Immigration nightmare coming soon. 2000 people arriving at once from Russia, China Taiwan, Australia and Britain and not enough room in the arrival hall for all of them. They will be passing out from heat exhaustion.

More tourists...ugh. An A380 is a heavy plane with more passengers crammed into it.

It's been known that Emirates is one of the Airline that has flights to Russia via Dubai from Denpasar vice versa. The most common Airline used by Russian tourists seeking refuge in Bali. Sigh...it's no secrets. There is no direct flight from Russia to Indonesia or to other places around the world for that matter.
